Know your project, know the details

I have been working as a Deployment Manager more than 3 years. My experience as application support is a great help to this role as I am more familar with the application than my colleagues. Sometimes, you can help support team to solve issues by themselves instead of seeking assisstance from other teams which is very likely time-consuming. The process to build a plan is difficult and requires great efforts. With the knowledge of the application, I can adjust the plan on my own and find planning issues that are not easy to be detected if you don't have a sound knowledge on the application.
